Enzie Estate Plans
BLOT10 Shepherd, C. This plan is formed of two estate surveys (RHP 11845 & 11847, 1771, National Records of Scotland) made of the west and east sides of the burn flowing through Deskford and Skeith. Note the sophisticated system of burns running through the bleachfields at Inaltry and the extensive upland resources on Aultmore. Deskford presumably formed part of the extensive royal forest lands running along the north coast between Spey Bay and Banff – the forests of Enzie and Boyne.
