The Bennachie Landscapes Project is driven by a wonderful band of people, some acting as individuals researching their own areas of interests, some as researchers at an institution or in some other active group. The Project’s main ‘group’ partners are the University of Aberdeen and the Bailies of Bennachie. More information about those two bodies may be found on their respective websites:

Other bodies have generously funded and supported the project over the years and their respective websites contain a lot of extra, valuable heritage information. Locally, the Aberdeenshire Historic Environment Record is a mine of useful data. More generally, the Castle Studies Trust website carries a wealth of information about ongoing research carried out on British Castles.
