Oral History

The area is rich in a tradition of oral history and was singled out as a particularly important aspect of the Bennachie Landscapes Project from the beginning. The transmission of oral history can take many forms: from story-telling within formal and informal situations, as handed down within families or even, by monumentalising personal data in the form of graffiti.
